Moral Re-Armament (MRA) was an international movement that developed from American minister Frank Buchman's Oxford Group. Buchman headed MRA from 1938 until his death in 1961.The movement had Christian roots, but it grew into an informal, international network of people of all faiths and backgrounds. Based around what it called the "Four Absolutes" (honesty, purity, unselfishness and love), it encouraged its members to be involved in political and social issues. The name of the group was changed to Initiatives of Change in 2001.; The airport has been United Airport (1930-1934), Union Air Terminal (1934-1940), Lockheed Air Terminal (1940-1967), Hollywood-Burbank Airport (1967-1978), Burbank-Glendale-Pasadena Airport (1978-2003) and most recently Bob Hope Airport (2003-present). Photograph caption dated June 10, 1955 reads "World business, labor, political and educational leaders are among delegation in Los Angeles en route to Honolulu. Group arrived at Lockheed Air Terminal in Burbank after conference at Mackinac Island."; See images #00142385 through #00142386 for all photos in this series.
