Photograph of an exterior view of The D.O. Mills Bank, Columbia, ca.1930. The D.O. Mills Bank, also known as the "Gold Dust Exchange" can be seen at center. The main door is raised a step above the sidewalk which is shaded by the porch ceiling above. To either side of the main door there can be seen benches and two windows. The left window advertises the name while the left is covered. Several more raised doors can be seen underneath windows in another side of the building. On the far right, along the second visible wall, an automobile is parked outside of the building. Photo file card reads "Built in the 1850's. A store for home-made candy now occupies the place".
