Announcement at beginning: "Santa Claus in Holland." Brown wax cylinder. Place of recording likely the United States. Performers not given. Child recites "Santa Claus in Holland"; man recites Lord's Prayer and sings an unidentified song (the recording at this point is poorly made and mistracks); then whistling ("Irish Washerwoman"); cylinder concludes with snippets of child singing and man speaking. Recording was made over a palimpsest recording of piano music. "Santa Claus in Holland" had appeared in print by 1906, cited as from The Ladies' World. Also available online via the Internet. Sung in English. The David Giovannoni Collection of home cylinder recordings (Set Number: 116-02).
