Description
"Konde-Ebene. Süsses Nichtstun. Junge Männer essen geröstete Bananen." ("Konde plain. Dolce far niente. Young men eating roasted bananas."). Four young men laying on the ground around a small mat displaying banana chips and eating. They are wearing clothes wrapped around their waists held up by brass rings. One of them is wearing brass bracelets. Other men are squatting in the background on the right. The setting is surrounded by banana trees.
The picture was bought by the Moravian Archives from Rehwagen in 1926.
