V2p86b In PHOTO ALBUM-VAULT: ** fc917.9461 A3, Vol. II, page 86 bottom. This photograph is contained in one of two volumes by Dobbin titled "Album of San Francisco." View of two men dressed in Old West clothing, along with a few onlookers, in front of a replica of a 19th Century Wells Fargo Agency. Signs on the structure advertise the purchase of gold dust. This building is set up in the lobby of a bank as part of the California Diamond Jubilee celebration. There is no written text alongside the photo; a view of the same structure at the top of page 88 bears text confirming that it was part of this celebration. Also have negative no. (4x5 in.): 29,757.
