Title supplied by cataloger. A freight train passes under the old 4th Street Bridge, or Viaduct, as it spans the unpaved Los Angeles River whose water is running in its central channels. Of wooden construction, the bridge was built in 1903. It was replaced by a newer bridge in 1931.
