Photograph caption dated May 6, 1965 reads "Ken Kuss (right) and teammate Craig Gilian simultaneously cross final hurdle in their heat of last week's preliminaries of the 120-yard high hurdles. Kuss and Gilian finished first and second, respectively, to qualify for tomorrow's finals at Reseda High School." The hurdlers are students at Canoga Park High School.
