Description
We believe this is a test kitchen inside the Baker's General Electric appliance store on 206 South First Avenue in Arcadia. Based on a sign in image pmh_JAH6003n1, we believe the woman on the left pouring something from a blender is Kay Price. Ms. Price is demonstrating the Osterizer blender and the Fryryte electric deep fryer. The photo was taken on October 26, 1950, and was ordered by Hobart K. Churchill. The 1951 Pasadena City Directory lists Mr. Churchill as a salesman (presumably for the Baker's appliance store) who resided with his wife Jane L. at 705 Florecita Terrace in Altadena.
