Description
Twice Mr. and Mrs. Earl Carothers were driven from their home by floods in Topanga Canyon and once by a brush fire. Today, November 25, 1938, they are thinking of giving up their cabin because this week's flames swept down on them again. The photo shows them sadly inspecting the ruins of their once-cozy mountain cabin.
