Description
Three men stand behind the counter inside the Wheeler Martin Grocery Store at 106 Throckmorton Avenue. Note the swastika symbol on the packages on the table; these are from the Pacific Coast Biscuit company. In the early 1900s, the company used this symbol in its marketing. At the time, in Pacific states, this symbol was meant to convey a sense of goodness.
