Moral Re-Armament (MRA) was an international movement that developed from American minister Frank Buchman's Oxford Group. Buchman headed MRA from 1938 until his death in 1961.The movement had Christian roots, but it grew into an informal, international network of people of all faiths and backgrounds. Based around what it called the "Four Absolutes" (honesty, purity, unselfishness and love), it encouraged its members to be involved in political and social issues. The name of the group was changed to Initiatives of Change in 2001.; The airport has been United Airport (1930-1934), Union Air Terminal (1934-1940), Lockheed Air Terminal (1940-1967), Hollywood-Burbank Airport (1967-1978), Burbank-Glendale-Pasadena Airport (1978-2003) and most recently Bob Hope Airport (2003-present).
Photograph caption dated June 10, 1955 reads "Arriving with MRA delegation at Lockheed Air Terminal are, from left, Admiral Sir Edward Cochrane, Ole Bjorne Kraft, Oskar Leimgruber and at extreme right, delegate Movaghar of the Iranian government. Welcoming group, fourth from left, is Lloyd Stimpson of San Fernando Valley."; See images #00142385 through #00142386 for all photos in this series.
