This is side A of the sixth tape of recordings of a course taught by Peter Drucker in 1978. This was recorded on February 21. In this section Drucker mentions that everyone in the room has probably learned how to sabotage, how to create disagreement, and how to confuse an issue, otherwise they wouldn’t belong in an executive management course. He also discusses universities at great length. This includes discussion of university museums and their directors, as well as several specific universities including Tokyo University of the Arts, University of Pennsylvania, UCLA, University of Michigan, and Columbia University. Drucker also discusses the history of the first modern University, the University of Berlin, and how it was different than previous education methods. He also covers the differences in American universities, and the ways universities have changed over time.
