Between November 5 to December 4, 1955, four model homes of the Lincoln House and Garden Park and Pool Club development built by Tobin Co. were showcased. Tobin's Park and Pool plan was promoted to include a private community park surrounded by homes, set to be sold for $14,000, with a 70-foot swimming pool, a recreation building, and three play areas scattered over a two-acre parcel. During the home show, it was announced that 600 hundred families from the immediate area would receive a free membership to the club.
Looking south towards Lincoln Avenue and Via Vista Drive, where the Tobin Park and Pool Homes show is taking place. Four model homes and a large tent, which contains displays of home furnishings and appliances, are seen just south of Lincoln Avenue. Directly west of the show on the right is the Lincoln Drive-In (demolished in 1996). Photographed for Irwin Advertising Agency Model Homes & Home Show on November 22, 1955.
