Prosser Cemetery located in the vicinity of Wildwood, not far from the Hidden Valley area of the present (east southeast of Rocklin). Mentioned in the Griffith Griffith records.
William J. Prosser was born in England in 1815. Arrived in California in 1849, eventually owning property in Nevada County (near Auburn) and Placer County (near Rocklin). Engaged in butchering, stock business, dairy ranch (near Prosser Creek, Nevada County). Married Nancy J. Mansfield.
