Photograph caption dated February 2, 1956 reads, "North Hollywood film beauty Kathy Marlowe admires the green beret, first to be issued as official U.S. Army gear, worn by Capt. Richard H. Case of the 77th Special Forces Group, Airborne, stationed at Fort Bragg. Case has just completed his first movie job, that of technical advisor on 20th Century-Fox’s CinemaScope production of 'The Man in the Gray Flannel Suit.'"
