Above is the Crossroads Center, a shopping-financial offices cluster covering 11 acres on both sides of Claudia Way, the street curving into Freeport in middle of photo. In right foreground is the completed portion of the center, a building housing a branch of the Wells Fargo Bank and other offices. Beyond Claudia Way, extending toward 35th Avenue in the background, can be seen the initial spadework for the main portion of the $1.5 million center, a cluster of six shopping pavilions set around a central court"
