Bust-length portrait.
William Barnabus Haskell was born in New York City, 1842. Settled in Petaluma, in 1866 admitted to bar. Worked in father's mercantile establishment, in 1872 opened law office in Winnemucca, Nev. serving while there as deputy district attorney and internal revenue collector; in 1875 returned to Petaluma working in Petaluma Savings Bank until opened law office in 1877. Died in 1914.
