Photograph caption dated November 26, 1959 reads, " 'Ignores Holdup' -- Le Roy Parrish, 15-year-old doughnut maker, continues his work of turning out doughnuts despite fact holdup man relieved him of $40 while he worked in shop at 19649 Ventura Blvd. in Woodland Hills."; Parrish was confronted with a robber demanding $40; after Parrish handed over the money he called his boss to inform him of the robbery. His boss' response - "We're busy keep making the donuts." Parrish called the police three hours later after he made reached his quota of 300 dozen donuts.
