Shown is a 1956 postcard from the Niceley Motel, then located on Stockton Boulevard. The motel was named after, and operated by, Owenna Niceley and her late husband, Lonnie E. (Jack). It was in operation for twenty-six years until Owenna's eventual retirement in 1973.
