Student's living space in the early 20th century. Two men study, one sitting at a desk covered in papers. Various objects decorate the walls: an African-style mask; a hatchet; posters and newspaper clippings; a sticker which reads "ORDERLY ROOM"; another which reads on two lines "INFLUENZA/KEEP OUT By Order Board of Health"; a pennant which reads "Pomona"; small American flags; a poster advertising a "Jazz" event on "Nov. 27."
