Carrying brooms and anti-pornography placards and blowing rape prevention whistles, more than 150 persons marched outside City Hall on March 24, 1977, protesting against what they called "rampant smut" and prostitution in the Los Angeles area. They are led by Mrs. Anne Nardi of the California Citizens for Decency, who said that thousands of children were being used in pornographic films and books and are sexually abused in Los Angeles.
