Photograph caption dated December 18, 1953 reads, "Ready for their entrance onto the outdoor stage of the Christmas story of all time as the Biblical Mary and Joseph are Mary Barbara Arseneau, First Presbyterian Church of Encino, and Leon Olson, St. John's Lutheran Church of Encino. The donkey, a fine actor in his own right, is Jackie, loaned from the North Hollywood Stables."
