Description
This circa 1930 black and white linen-finished postcard features one of the many family-owned and operated courts, bungalows, cabin and motels that sprang up on highways and main thoroughfares throughout the Sacramento region during the 1920s and 1930s. An enticement on the back of the card reads, "On Highways 99 and 40 at south city limits, Sacramento, California. Owned and operated by Mr. & Mrs. L. E. Nicely."
