- Description
- Looking easterly, this 1960 photograph shows the north side of Merchant Street, between Fifth and Sixth Streets. Prior to redevelopment of the 1960s, Merchant bisected city blocks between J and K Streets, from Fifth to Eighth Streets. The white stuccoed flank of the Ramona Hotel at 1007 Sixth Street is visible in the distance.
