Description: Image of a blank diploma from Western High School in Baltimore, Maryland; elaborate frame border with portraits of influential women (including Martha Washington and Mary Washington), vignettes representing various school subjects, and a small eye-level view of the school building.
Single-color print. Date supplied by cataloger based on printer history and item text; E. Weber & Co. was renamed A. Hoen & Co. in 1852, and the certificate provides a blank space for the year beginning with "eighteen hundred." "Lith. by A. Hoen & Co. Baltimore,"--text, bottom center margin.
