The Quad at Whittier shopping mall was built in 1953 and expanded in 1965. After being destroyed by an earthquake in 1987, it was rebuilt as a strip mall.

Visible streets are Whittier Boulevard (bottom left corner to top right corner); College Avenue (horizontally at bottom); Laurel Avenue middle left to center); and Painter Avenue (horizontally at top).
