Description
Rail workers laying track. Piles of wooden railroad ties and spare tracks at side and back of photo. This image is part of a commemorative album given to Albert Gallatin in 1904 by his employees. Gallatin was the president of Sacramento Electric Power and Light Company and a builder of the Folsom Powerhouse (1895) along with H.P. Livermore.
