Photograph caption dated October 22, 1963 reads, "Eight Valley men were presented the Boy Scout Silver Beaver Award Monday night at a banquet in Granada Hills. The winners, seated from left, included Robert S. Fuller, Van Nuys; George A. Orrill, North Hollywood; John C. Johnson, San Fernando, and Henry Marshall, Canoga Park. Other winners, standing from left, are William R. VanDusen, Sherman Oaks; Henry X. Jackson, Northridge; Henry C. S. Keeton, Lake Hughes, and Max L. Mahan, North Hollywood. Award is designed to honor 'outstanding service to boyhood.'"
