Description
Photograph caption dated March 9, 1965 reads, "Members of Xi Gamma Delta Chapter of Beta Sigma Phi try out new four-seat "Whirly Bird" merry-go-round and sandbox they donated to New Horizons Center, 15725 Parthenia St., Sepulveda. Members are Mrs. Marvin Haisten Jr., front, Sun Valley, service chairman, with John Brady, 5, Sepulveda, and, back from left, Mmes. Tom Keller, North Hollywood; Clyde Glasser, Burbank, president, and Cyril Vallie, Burbank, with Barbara Pierson, 6, Canoga Park. On hand for the presentation with members were Mrs. Allee Smith, school administrator, and John Brady, community relations chairman for the Valley Association for Retarded Children."
