Description
The unedited transcript of Phalana Tiller's interview with Adrian Wooldridge for the December 2012 episode of Drucker on the Dial entitled "Postcards from Vienna." The interview is from the 2012 Global Peter Drucker Forum held in Vienna, Austria in November 2012. Adrian Wooldridge, the management editor and Schumpeter columnist for The Economist, begins by saying that he met Peter Drucker while he was a Los Angeles correspondent for The Economist. Wooldridge shares his impressions of the forum, and his belief that a new model of capitalism is needed. He talks about Paul Polman, the chief executive officer of Unilever, and how he has been a very significant chief executive. Wooldridge goes on to say that he would like to be remembered for having had some interesting thoughts, and for having written interesting books that will be valuable and creative in more than 10 to 15 years time.
