Photograph caption dated September 14, 1964 reads, "Friendships and carnivals go well together and at Notre Dame High School they follow on each other's heels. After a get-acquainted meeting for parents of new students, presided over by Notre Dame Principal Br. Nivard, Patron Club members began recruiting workers for the annual carnival which is expected to draw more than 20,000 people this year.
