Pictured is Mrs. Betty Kleiger, who along with her husband Saul, brother Isadore and an unidentified customer, were victims of a robbery inside their nightclub located at 1831 W. Seventh Street. The victims handed over $377 in cash, two rings worth $575, a $75 watch, a $35 wallet, and Mrs. Kleiger's $6,000 mink coat to a masked man who threatened them with a large revolver. The robber then herded the group into a checkroom, shoved a jukebox against the door, and disappeared with the loot. Photograph dated November 11, 1947.
