The Council became a reality when the former Burbank Girl Scout Council was reorganized with scouting troops from the entire Valley. Mrs. Forrest Lambrecht, past president of the Burbank council, has been named head of the new Valley council. The veteran of 17 years of Girl Scouting said, 'We have been looking forward to this occasion for more than 10 years.'"
