Photograph caption dated November 27, 1954 reads, "Receiving five-year Mayor's trophy from Spade Cooley, honorary mayor of Encino, is, left, Rick Robbing, Senior Patrol Leader of Encino Boy Scout Troop 331, winner of first annual Encino Boy Scout Field Day. Approving are, left to right, Jan Van Orman, junior assistant scoutmaster and Al Clark, scoutmaster of the troop. Over 100 scouts participated, with Troop 199, runner-up and Troop 131 taking third place."
