Description
Jacoby Bros. dry goods store in Temple Block on Spring St. during La Fiesta Week. The employees pose in front of the entrance and on the balcony above. The entrance is gaily decorated. Men are gathered around a display window. Henryk Sienkiewicz, author of Quo Vadis, clerked for the store. On the back of the photo is the inscription "To Leo Jacoby, from Pauline Kemling, Earl R. Lovarice, employees of 1896." Photo dated: 1894 or 1896.
