Description
Title supplied by cataloger.
Designed by Joseph Bell de Remer and built in the early 1920s, the Tudor-Gothic Revival Wilshire Presbyterian facilities shown here included a main church building with seating for 1100 people, a 100 foot clock tower, an adjoining Sunday School auditorium with seating for 400, and a parsonage. When the buildings were constructed, the cost came to $125,000 before two pipe organs and interior furnishings were purchased. On February 6, 1977 the church was severely damaged by fire and was later razed to make way for a replacement building.
