Description: Exterior and interior views of Paul Flato jewelry showroom. Some photographs are hand–tinted.
The two negatives (017-018) are views of an addition to the Paul Flato store (cabinetry) [source: James Buresh, Oct. 2009]. Flato's store was at this location from approximately 1939-1944. Caption for image 016 in Harper's Bazaar (April 1938) says "... taken during the opening exhibition of jewels designed by Flato ... None was for sale. All were privately owned by his clients..."
