Typed letter from William S. Ament to J. C. Harper. Ament discusses memorial addresses in honor of Colonel Seeley Mudd; memorial inscription designed by Millard Sheets and lettered by Thomas Beggs; and report on the dinner of the three Boards of Trustees with addresses concerning the need of a first-rate group of colleges in the Humanities, the revised organization of the colleges in Claremont, about a men's college in Claremont, and about the need for a library development.
