This is a vintage print signed, titled, and dated in pencil by the artist on verso; artist's wet stamp also on verso. The extensive portfolio of photographic artist Carol Westwood (1942-2011), a native New Yorker who lived in Los Angeles for many years, includes a diverse array of subjects: animals, nudes, American and European cities, and portraits. Additionally, she worked on special and still photography for numerous motion picture and television productions in Hollywood; the archive of her entertainment and celebrity images was distributed internationally by Gamma, Liaison International, Stone Images, and Getty images from 1988-2003. Looking out from the photographer's car shows a man being arrested outside a restaurant located on the southwest corner of S. Main and 1st streets; the rearview mirror reveals a glimpse of Main Street as it appears further south of the intersection. The restaurant is no longer standing. Photograph dated May 1990.
