Description
Photograph of a view of the inner harbor in Newport Bay, ca.1925. A lone car can be seen driving down the bently curving road at center, cliffs covered with scrub vegetation to the right, marshland to the left beyond a line of utility poles. Just at the bend of the road to the right, a small wooden shack can be seen. Farther back, a bridge runs across the harbor horizontally, an oil derrick visible at its left side. Still farther back, a three-masted ship can be seen in profile in the shallows. More oil derricks are visible in the right distance.
