Hubert Humphrey, longtime U.S. Senator from Minnesota, 38th Vice President (under LBJ, 1965-1969), Democratic nominee for President, 1968. Caption: U.S. Senator Hubert H. Humphrey took time out while in Sacramento to sign the Roll of Honor and contribute to the Sacramento Symphony Association. The symphony group has until June 30 to taise $500,000 to match a similar amount offered by the Ford Foundation. The association has raised more than $483,605 of the money.
