Ward, former board chairman of North Valley YMCA, now has his name entered in the Golden Book of Distinguished Service, the highest honor given by the Los Angeles YMCA, reserved for men whose service to youth through the YMCA has been distinguished by length, integrity, devotion and significant accomplishment."
