Photographic portrait of Dr. Griffin of Pasadena, California, [s.d.]. The bust of Dr. Griffin, who came to California with Kearney, is shown in three-quarters profile facing to the right. He wears an unbuttoned jacket, a vest and a ribbon tie. His face is wide and gristly with a gray beard, and shows much of his prominent forehead due to a receding hairline.
