Photograph of a drawing depicting cowboys "Trading with the Indians guns, ammunition and whiskey", ca.1900. Three cowboys are pictured in the left foreground astride their horses with their dog beneath them to the far left, while a group of Native Americans is gathered in the right foreground over a case of whiskey, a rifle and other goods. Several children are with them. A collection of broken bottles stands between the two groups. In the distance, a train of ox-drawn covered wagons makes its way forward out of the mountains in the background. The surrounding terrain appears to be desert. The drawing may be by H.W. Hansen.
