Description
Photograph article dated March 9, 1965 partially reads, "A new clue to the mysterious disappearance of two Valley youths eight months ago in the desert of Baja California may be revealed here later today. The American Consulate here is expected to disclose the contents of a log kept by Steven Bunch, 18, and Harold Dean Slaght, 19, during their trip which began last June 21. The log was found inside the youths' truck which was located last week in the desolate Sierra Vizcaino desert, about 400 miles south of Tijuana." Photograph caption reads, "Searchers meet - Robert Bunch, left, father of Steven, one of the missing youths, discusses case with Dr. C. C. Hutchison, Burbank physician who had been conducting his own search for the boys in Baja California since Feb. 12. The two met in Guerrero Negro."; See images #00132685 through #00132687 for all photos in this series.
