Description
Photograph caption dated June 1, 1959 reads, "John McAdams, seated, student body president at James Monroe High School, Sepulveda, is filled in on foreign students exchange program of American Field Service after special school assembly. With him are Kjersti Tonna, seated, exchange student from Norway who is attending Canoga Park High School; Eija Heinonen, from Finland, student at Reseda High School, and Tom Leatherwood, San Fernando High School student who lived in Switzerland in summer, 1958. James Monroe High School plans to participate in exchange program for first time this fall."
