In addition to manufacturing helicopters, Robinson includes a research and development division, has an overhaul program to service older helicopters and offers educational courses for flight instructors and maintenance technicians. Two employees retrieve cylindrical objects from a metal cage. The objects are helicopter components that will make their way to the next workstation at the Robinson Helicopter Company plant, located at the Torrance Airport.
