Albumen print after a painting by Stephen James Ferris (b. 1835). Copyright: J. A. Arthur. Depicts Lincoln being embraced by George Washington, surrounded by clouds. Washington holds a laurel wreath over Lincoln's head. Imagery invokes traditional portrayals of martyrs receiving a crown. See also Pr 670.
