A large crowd of people, many of them young, march during a funeral procession on their way to a burial site following a demonstration in Managua's Plaza 19 de Julio in honor of a group of young men murdered by Contras. Throughout the crowd there are several young men and women in white shirts and blue denim skirts or pants, some in school uniforms, which consist of white shirts and navy blue skirts, and others in olive green-colored military uniforms. A man in military uniform is carrying the blue-and-white flag of Nicaragua and a woman in civilian clothes is carrying the black-and-red flag of the Sandinista National Liberation Front. In the middle of the image, a group of young people in military uniform hold a sign whose only legible portion is, "We shall defend." Una multitud de personas, muchas de ellas jóvenes, marchan durante una procesión fúnebre en rumbo a un cementerio después de una manifestación en honor a un grupo de muchachos asesinados por contras, la cual fue organizada en la Plaza 19 de Julio en Managua. Entre la multitud están varios muchachos y muchachas portando camisas blancas y faldas o pantalones de mezclilla azul, algunos que portan uniformes escolares, los cuales consisten de camisas blancas y faldas azul marino, y otros que portan uniformes militares color verde olivo. Un hombre en uniforme militar camina sosteniendo la bandera albiazul de Nicaragua mientras una mujer en ropa de civil camina sosteniendo la bandera rojinegra del Frente Sandinista de Liberación Nacional.
