Description
Two women depicted in a parlor. The woman on the left wears a white wedding dress. Her white lace veil falls to mid-calf and is adorned with a flower band of white flowers and green leaves. Her dress has long narrow sleeves, a high jewel neckline, a slightly pointed bodice, and bands of white trimming across the bodice, the skirt front, and on the sleeves. Each band ends with a puff and a tassel, and the sleeves have ruffles at the wrists. The woman on the right is sitting in a chair upholstered in light blue, and holds both the bride's hands in hers. A shawl is thrown over the chair back behind her. She wears a pink bonnet with matching ribbon and feathers. Her dress is medium green with horizontal bands of black lace - one at the shoulder, two on the sleeves, and three on the skirt. The parlor is lightly sketched with pink and light blue striped walls, pink draperies, and three patterned vases on tall piece of furniture.
